Let’s outsmart App Fraud

APP (Authorised Push Payment) scams present a significant challenge that spans the financial services industry, as well as many other sectors including social media and telecommunications. 

In 2022 alone, APP fraud losses in the UK reached £485.2m.

In 2023 Visa commissioned Mintel to carry out research where over 2,000 UK cardholders were surveyed. The findings of the research show the scale of APP scams and effect on victims and businesses.
