Mobile device and app vulnerabilities, specific exploits, and threats are increasing. According to Zimperium’s 2023 Global Mobile Threat Report:
- There was a 138% YoY increase in critical Android vulnerabilities.
- 23% of all compromised devices were actually exploited and not “just” jailbroken/rooted.
- Mobile malware samples rose 51% YoY, with more than 920,000 samples detected, including Dirty RatMilad, MoneyMonger, and Dark Herring.
